On Saturday, April 18, 2026, I attended the UTSA Fiesta Arts Fair. There, I had the privilege of acquainting myself with the talented Adam Holman, an Arizona-based artist, and his work. He was kind enough to let me photograph his incredible sculptures. I liked the surreal, retro-futuristic quality of automatons. Unfortunately, I could not afford to purchase anything, but hopefully, my photos will help him gain more traction.

Fiesta is a holiday unique to San Antonio. I love all the fun and festivities that span the eleven-day-long celebration. So, I sought to commemorate the occasion.
On Friday, I spent the day volunteering at SAAACAM, assisting them with artifact photography. Although I was tired by the time I arrived home, I mustered the willpower to walk to Square Market and capture the photos, as shown above. Once I started editing, I noticed a common theme of couples—romantic, platonic, and familiar. They make up the majority in this collection. Hence the title: Vida y Amor en la Fiesta.
It was a gloomy day, which, of course, made color grading and correction an arduous task. Because of the inconsistency, I decided to experiment. Some photos are bright, bold, and vibrant; others are muted but natural.
If you are among the select few who are not featured in a collection, it is to no fault of your own, but rather, an issue either with lighting, framing, or focus—essentially, something beyond repair. Thanks to everyone who participated.
Don’t forget, viva fiesta, San Antonio!
EDIT: I decided to add the NIOSA as an addendum to Vida y Amor en la Fiesta, which is sorted throughout. I focused on the same themes while also broadening my scope, striving for more candid, honest portraits of people at the event. Busy between projects, I took these additional photos real quick one evening, after previously attending Fiesta De Los Reyes days prior.
On March 28, my girlfriend, sister, and I participated in the No Kings Protest. We previously attended the march in October, 2025. This time, however, I came prepared, ready to capture photos of the event. It was a wonderful experience. I was proud to see my fellow San Antonians rallying for a good cause. Despite the commotion, I thrived in the fast-paced nature of things. In fact, I showcase a broad range of scenes and personalities.
I photographed and edited all images shown above.
If you are featured in a photo and would like an uncompressed copy, I can send you one or even re-edit it to your liking, free of charge.
